Mackenzie Holder aka Kenz/Kenzie
Extracurricular activities: Mackenzie has been a member of the cheer squad and coached the NYAA cheerleading team. She also is apart of the Nease Institution at MVNU.
Plans after high school: After high school, Mackenzie plans on attending MVNU to study journalism and she will also be a cheerleader for the basketball team.
Favorite class in high school and why: Creative Writing and Journalism were Mackenzie’s favorite class because she fell in love with writing for fun and not just writing because she was required. She loves to write, and Mrs. Garee helped her to make the decision to go into a Journalism major and allowed her to learn all the skills necessary for next year.
When you’re 80 what will you look back on in high school: Mackenzie says that when she’s 80 she’ll look back on all the amazing people and friends she was able to meet and bond with. Mackenzie also says that she’ll remember all the great memories that she created in her student leadership
Senior quote: “Life is like a camera - just focus on what’s important and capture the good times. Develop from the negatives, and if things don’t turn out, take another shot!”
